Henry Nires, 93 of Chandler, Arizona passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 16, 2014, while under the care of the Lund Family Home, Hospice of the Valley. He was honorably discharged from his service to his country in WWII. Henry was born in Brooklyn, NY, and relocated to Arizona after retirement with his loving and dedicated wife of 71 years, Millie in 1997. He worked in New York’s garment center for many years. Henry was the beloved husband of Mildred Nires, father of Tina Fogel (Nires), Lynda Peretz (Nires), and Edward Nires, who pre-deceased Henry in 2007, loving and devoted grandfather to Corey Fogel, Jill Fogel, Courtney Townsend (Peretz) and Allison Peretz, and great-grandfather of Grayson Townsend. He will remain in our hearts forever. The memorial service for Henry will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Sun Lakes Chapel Center, 9240 E Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.
