Janice Marie Murdoch, 83, of Mesa, Arizona was called to her Heavenly home on Sunday, February 7, 2021 with family by her side. Janice was born in the state of Wisconsin, graduated from Jefferson High School and was affectionately known as “Abby”. She studied music for 2 years and played in many theater groups. Her beautiful voice achieved acceptance to Julliard School of Performing Arts. She married in Tacoma, WA and raised her family in New Berlin, Wis. Janice was a successful business owner and entrepreneur. She also obtained her real estate license in Champaign, IL. She was well traveled and finally settled in Mesa, AZ, to be close to her daughter. Surviving are her 4 daughters: Mary Lingren, Michelle Murdoch Null (Tim), Jacqueline Murdoch, and Kimberly Murdoch; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Gary Hiller (Diane) and Joel Osmundson; 4 sisters: Joy Fischer, Mary Zonfrilli, Susan Strese, and Elaine Masche (Steven); 19 nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Angel. Her parents, Ira Hiller and Alice Osmundson, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org/donate.
