Jo taught my son in Homer for kindergarten 82. She was a calm, caring woman and a positive influence on him.
A funny story was during swim lessons which were held at the high school pool one of the kids jumped in the deep end and didn’t know how to swim. My husband was helping as chaperone and jumped in, fully clothed, including cowboy boots! Jo said she was so glad he did or she would have had to. Whenever she came back to Homer we would always recall that.
    So sorry for your loss💕
