June 22…her birthday today as I write;
My deepest condolences to family. She adored each and everyone. She and I were roommates at ASU and she was my Maid of Honor in 1968. We remained close friends. We traveled many roads together. She loved the movies and we went to all the science fiction movies she could drag me to (and there were many)! Fun times.
But the most precious of memories were her 7AM calls every morning during my chemotherapy therapy treatments that lasted six months. What a blessing! Her support was priceless! We are all blessed to have had her in our lives! We celebrate you my dear friend! Amen and amen!❤
I agree 100% with all that our 3rd roommate wrote above! Joddy & I were together at ASU for two years as “official” roomies, first at Gammage Hall & then at McClintock. What a kind & loving spirit she was! Because of time & distance we kind of lost touch but she was always my friend. May her family find solace through God & their shared memories of Joddy. Rest In Peace dear one!
