Joella Bea King died suddenly on October 11, 2017, at her Rimrock residence. She was born in Sikeston, MO, March 21, 1942, to Mary Amelia and Jolly Wilson King. She graduated from Gideon High School in Gideon, MO, and worked as a legal secretary for many years. She got her beautician’s license and opened her own shop in 1970, in Poplar Bluff, MO. Joella and her family moved to Arizona in 1974, she worked in a dairy originally, and later taught math for the Mesa Public School District. Joella was employed by TRW for seven years, prior to moving to northern Arizona, where she would spend her final years.
She leaves behind three adult children: Joseph Henry Cunningham, Christopher Robert Cunningham and family, and Amelia Jane Church, with her children, Jorell Donovan Helmick, Travis Addam Helmick, Alicia Jane Helmick.
We love you so much and miss you, Momma. You will be sorely missed every day.
