John “Jack” C. Fruin, 79, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully May 27, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 1, 1934to Alfred H. and Clara Arline Fruin in Brookfield, MO. He graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1957. Jack worked at University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. He later moved to Denver and worked as a real estate appraiser. He moved to Mesa, AZ in 1989. He was a member of K of C #7904. He is survived by his wife, Kaye, sister Nancy (Hubert) Lucht, step-son Greg (Kim) Salyer, grandchildren Dominick A. Salyer and Heather M. Salyer, nephews Brian (Jill) Lucht, Jonathon (Michelle) Lucht. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves many friends and neighbors. There will be a memorial Mass held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206 at 10:00 am Tuesday June 4, 2013.
