Jonathan Grant Crowell
July 9, 1993 to July 16, 2020
Jon is survived by his son, Brysen, whom he couldn’t talk about without a light dancing behind his eyes, his mother Toni Carlson her partner Eric Wittenbarger, his father John Crowell, his stepmother Jade Crowell, his siblings Jacob, Aydin, Blaike, Craig, Sophia, Chris, Wayne, Tyler, Kevin, his nephew Damien, his maternal grandparents Terrie Fortune and Donald Akin and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We know Jon is now with his fiancée Bethany Grant and their son, Theo, who preceded him in death. We are comforted by the certainty that he is loved on earth as well as in heaven.
Jon was born in Arlington, WA, lived in California and spent most of his life in Arizona. Life in both places much the same – a skateboard in hand, repairing electronics, and an easy smile. Jonathan was an entrepreneur at heart, always looking for the next big thing. We would all be rich if we had listened to him about Bitcoin.
Jon’s smile was infectious. He was incredibly kind, often seeing the best in people. He loved music and to laugh. He spent his life always in the pursuit of happiness.
When you think of Jonathan, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Everyone has a story about Jon, and we look forward to hearing yours.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 28 at 9am at Mountain View Funeral Home: 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207.
I love you son…
I will forever remember that crazy little boy jumping off of his Grandmas couch like super man, over and over again!
Rest easy Jonathan.
