Joseph Anthony Fitzpatrick, 59, July 3, 1962 – May 30, 2022, passed away at home in Mesa, AZ. Joseph was born in Niagara Falls, NY and had originally come to Arizona for college. He loved the warm weather and lifestyle in the desert. Joseph went to La Salle High School, and several colleges. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University in NJ.

Joseph was born into a large Italian Irish family and was the baby of nine. He is pre-deceased by his mother and father, John Francis and Gertrude (Focazio) Fitzpatrick, his brother Danny, and sister Denise. He is survived by his brother Michael, and sisters Maureen, Joannie, Kathie, Trudy, and Eileen, his nieces Salem, Morgan, Hunter, and Ashley, and nephews Brian, David, Stephen, Dylan, and Troy.

He will be missed every day by his life companion, Debbie, and his son Jack Anthony of Mesa, AZ. He will be forever in our hearts. What we will remember most about “Joe,” or if you’re in Niagara Falls, NY “Joey” or “Fitz,” is his quick wit. Joe could make anyone laugh, even strangers in line at the grocery store, with his one-liners. He loved all sports, and of course his team the Buffalo Bills. He prided himself being from Buffalo, NY, and his favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day. There are so many memories all that knew him will remember that will put smiles on our face.

Joseph will be missed at his workplace, Kuehne + Nagel Inc., where he was the receiving manager for a large shipping and receiving company serving Honeywell in South Phoenix. He was a dedicated employee and valued for his exceptional skills.

A service will be held for Joseph on Monday, July 11th, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E Main St., Mesa Arizona 85207. A mass will be held at St. John de LaSalle RC Church, Niagara Falls, NY on a later date to be announced. Please contact immediate family for details. Joseph will be laid to rest with his mother, father, and brother Danny at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope you can find peace and comfort in knowing you have the chance to see Joseph again someday. “There is going to be a resurrection”. (Acts 24:15) What a wonderful time this will be!

  2. Roy Chacon says:

My Buddy Joe…I admit, I miss you. We all miss you at work. Wish we could of hung out outside of work… we would of had some fun!
everytime I grab the jar of Mancini Fried Long Hot Peppers out of the fridge….
    I say: Thank you Joe!
    R.I.P my Brother.
