Joseph Joshua Searor, 41, of Mesa, Arizona, unexpectedly passed away on October 15, 2023.
He was born on February 18, 1982 in Oswego, New York to Michelle Mistico and Joseph Searor. He was raised in the East Valley, Arizona, by Michelle and Vincent Mistico, and made his home in Mesa, Arizona. He graduated from Highland High School in 2001. He graduated from Arizona State University with a BSN, receiving his RN degree, and was pursuing his Master’s of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner. He was working as a psychiatric nurse for CBI.
He loved to golf, hike, and was an exceptional musician. He was smart, funny, patient, intelligent, and kind. He brought peace to those around him, and was a strong follower and believer of Jesus, and attended Living Word church. He was a rock for his family and made his friends feel special and seen. He truly was one of a kind.
He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his sons, Josh and Jameson Searor, their mother Danielle Searor, as well as his partner Kayla Kelsen, along with his grandparents, Vic and Shirley Gappa of Gilbert, Arizona, his parents, Michelle and Vincent Mistico of Mesa, Arizona, and Joseph Searor of Fulton, New York, and his siblings Vincent (Courtney) Mistico, Michael (Lucy) Mistico, Tina (Wes) Johnson, and Justin (Stephanie) Searor, along with nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services are on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Mountain View Funeral Home (7900 E. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85207), with a 9am viewing and a 10am funeral.
