Juan Elefante Ellorin, a navy veteran, passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 90 in his home in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by his family.

Juan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Francisca; his children, Evelyn and Rose; his grandchildren, Carlos, Chris, Leah, Drew, RJ, Ty, Josh, Tristen, and Kaleya; his great grandchildren, Camden, Bence, Colton and Kailo.

Juan was born in Santiago, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on September 17, 1933. He graduated from the U.S. Naval School in San Diego, California on February 19, 1954 and served for 20 years. He married Francisca Ellazar in Manila, Quezon City, Philippines on May 11, 1957.

Juan was a devoted Catholic and committed father, grandfather, and great grandfather. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and cooking. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on February 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church (1551 E. Dana Avenue, Mesa, Arizona 85204), followed by a military burial at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85024).
