Kari Lynn Frech
April 24, 1983 – November 24, 2025
Kari Lynn Frech, née Roberts, age 42, passed away surrounded by family on November 24, 2025, after a brief but devastating battle with cancer. She was born on April 24, 1983, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the family relocated to Mesa, Arizona in 1993. She graduated from Arizona State University and worked as an accountant for a small, local firm. Kari also avidly homeschooled her daughter Hazel.
Kari was a fierce lover of cats, having rescued five throughout her lifetime, Emma, Mia, Lila, Chelsea, and Rambo. She possessed an incredible wit and sense of humor, always quick to jump on inside jokes with her sisters and nieces. Kari was an integral part of the tight-knit Roberts family, and her nieces and nephew adored her.
Kari is survived by her husband, Ryan; her daughter, Hazel; her parents, Kathy and Dennis; her brother Jeff (Jenny); her sister Heather (Blake); her twin sister Kristen (Kris); her nieces Liliana (Connor) and Hollyn and nephew Kieran; her in-laws, Gary and Judith Frech and Benjamin (Rebecca) Frech; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Dean and Bernadette Roberts and Earl and Frances Ingalls. May her memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa on Friday, December 5th at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kari’s name to the Arizona Humane Society or Friends for Life Animal Rescue.
