Katherine (Kathy) Ann VanDriel, 48 of Peoria, AZ passed suddenly at home with her family by her side, October 15th, 2016. Preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann Armsby. She is survived by her loving husband Todd, three children, Alisha (Aaron), Andrew (Audrey), & Gatlin. Grandchildren Luka Andrew & Olivia Ruth. Her father, Gene Armsby, sisters, Sheila (John) Armsby, Debbie (John) Toth, Joni Dees, Kelli (David) Santistevan, brother Jeff (Carrie) Armsby, Grandmother Ruby Skinner, several brother & sister in laws, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt & uncles.   Kathy graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa, Az in 1985. She met Todd VanDriel in 1984 and they married in 1986. They had just celebrated their 30-year anniversary in Las Vegas in May.  Kathy’s life was dedicated to helping others no matter the cost. She worked as an EMT, 911 dispatcher, ER Tech, Care Facility Manager, and Hairdresser. She loved horses and all of her animals. She really enjoyed getting to know people and would help anyone in need. Kathy loved to sing and would try to get everyone to join in. Happiness was always her number one goal. Kathy loved the beach and travel and she was always ready for an adventure.   Kathy was a proud Navy wife and Air Force mom. Her Grandchildren were the light of her life.   The family requests that in lieu of flowers that she would love that you donate to your favorite charity in her name.

    I have nothing but fond memories when our family would visit our Arizona family. I always looked forward in our next visits. Kathy will be missed. She was loved in Missouri.
