As I sit here reminiscing of all the parties we were welcomed to tears are rolling down my face. How we were welcomed into your family. They say nobody can replace your own mom. But Kathy please know you did a dam good job. Always made us feel warm and welcomed and part of the family. Even when I heard you and kathy talking at the pool about hair cuts and me being so shy (now we know that ain’t so ) and I yelled “your the a Kathy that cuts hair when can I get mine cut” you were so kind and loving and told me to come over to your house next week and your daughter would cut my hair. From then on you held a special place in my heart. My heart had a hole in it when my mom passed and you filled it up again. And now it’s has a hole again. Nobody will fill it like you did. Please kiss my mom and dad and know we loved you from the bottom of our hearts.
We were with you today in our thoughts and hearts. Fifty years is a long time. You were at our wedding, the birth of our children and all of our family events. We have also lost our dear friend. Our happy memories will always remain with us.
Marie and Gary Romano.
So sad to hear about Kathy passing. She had perked our interest as she was the adorable lady that was featured with Bob Neubank on the “Newlywed” game show that was filmed in 1968 and aired in 1969. She seemed so sweet and innocent and many folks including myself and my husband took an immediate admiration to Kathy. We did see the article they wrote in 2011about John and her. God bless John and their two children as we pray they have healed from this sad loss.
