After a 5 year battle with cancer, Kathryn Jeanne Bunch passed away peacefully early in the morning of September 17, 2019, at her home in Apache Junction, Arizona.  Kathy was born October 5, 1952, in Los Angeles, daughter of William and Rosalie Higgs.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Suzie.  A Celebration of Life will be conducted on October 20, 1:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa Arizona.

She enjoyed a career as an immigration paralegal at her beloved Texas A&M, and later in Arizona, where she married her husband Mike, on June 15, 2001.

She is survived by her husband Mike, her brother Mike and wife Dianna, and by her two sons, Jason and wife Heather, and Brian and wife Stephanie, by her grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Michael, Morgan, and Wyatt, her great granddaughter, Liberty Athena, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She loved them all dearly.

Beloved wife, daughter, sister, Mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, Kathy loved the people in her life, and brought happiness and peace to people around her wherever she went.  She’s with her Mom and Dad and Suzie now, and with God’s blessing and in His own good time, we’ll see her again.

    Mike and Dianna, I am so saddened by Kathy’s passing, but thankful her suffering is over. Love and comfort to you, your family and Kathy’s family! God has certainly blessed her!

    I just found out about the passing of Kathy, a friend that I was blessed to have for the last 36+ years when we both worked at our much loved Texas A&M. She was the kindest, sweetest soul that I have ever met and though my heart is broken ??I know she is in Jesus arms, ???????

    Kathy was always thoughtful, kind and there was a certain calmness about her. She was hard working, professional, and I never heard Kathy gossip about anyone. She was a great co-worker and I will remember her with fondness.
    Regrettably I am unable to maker her memorial today but want to express my deepest sympathy to Mike and Kathy’s Family. May she Rest In Peace and may God comfort you in your grief.
