Loving son of Charlene Kanta and Kenneth Pagni passed away suddenly on the morning of 4/15/24. Kyle was a three-sport athlete enjoying baseball, wrestling, and football! He was an avid sports fan, supporting all Chicago teams — the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls, and Cubs. He loved all his dogs- Ozzie, Bosco, Dakota, Lucy, and Stella. Kyle was excited for his mom to retire because she was getting another puppy. Kyle worked while attending Robert Morris University in Chicago. After he graduated, he went into the sales field and was very successful. Kyle loved and was proud of all his tattoos and thought his tattoo artist was the best. Daredevil that he was, he enjoyed skydiving and was looking forward to doing a jump with his dad here in the future. Kyle was predeceased by both his maternal (Lillian and Erwin KaValle) and paternal grandparents (Helen and Albert Pagni). Kyle was also predeceased by his brother, Justin Matthew Pagni (8/17/84). Kyle is survived by his Uncle Richard, Aunt Alice (Craig) Kennedy, his cousins and godmothers Kelli (Jeff) Cox and Erin (Steve) White. He is also survived by many second cousins: Laura, Donna, Lisa, Brian, John, Nick, Steve, Eric, Dawn, Pamela, Russel, Kaylyn, Mady, Bianca, Brian, Abby, Max, Bella, and Baine. Donna, Carol and Grandmother Monica. Kyle loved his friends— Kevin (originally from Illinois) who he grew up with, and his friends from Arizona: Chris, Tyler, Delucia, Vanessa, and Daniel. Please post a picture or leave a comment for Kyle’s memory book.

We have known Kyle since he was five, and Char, you were my first friend in the neighborhood. I will alway have fond memories of our 2 Kyle’s playing in the backyard, being at daycare together, in boy scouts and playing football. They were great childhood friends. My heart breaks for you as you mourn this tragic loss.
Rest in peace, Kyle.
I’ll never forget the little boy who wanted to paint a picture for his Mom. He did – and it was beautiful. We framed it and wrapped it and Kyle was so excited and proud to give his art to his Mom. – Good memory of an enthusiastic and happy guy! I’ll always miss that cute little guy all covered in paint!
Peace and love Kyle.

Charlene I’m heartbroken over your loss. Kyle and Kevin were 5 days apart in age and were friends since 2nd grade. I have so many memories of the boys growing up together. Playing in the neighborhood, Sea Lion Park, Cub Scouts, and sports. They were always at your house or ours. I introduced Kyle more than once as my 6th son. He loved you more than anything.
I considered kyle as my 7th brother. He was best friends with my brother in law, Kevin. With that we always knew if we saw Kevin we would also get to see Kyle. He was always so positive, loving, and supportive towards our family. Kyle would always ask for advice and it always made me feel special that he came to me for it. He had more love to give to people than anyone I know. I will miss him greatly and know he is in heaven dishing out compliments and radiating joy like he did here on earth. I will miss you little brother! xoxoxo Rachel Jones
Dear Char, I found this sentiment on a card and I hope it brings you some peace. ….
Don’t remember me with sadness, Don’t remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter, We’ve shared throughout the years. Now I am contented that my life it was worthwhild, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. So please don’t be unhappy just because I’m out of sight, remember that I’m with you each morning, noon and night.
Char, hold onto the good times you had with Kyle and know that he is at peace with God. Love You, Debbie
