Lanny Ray Keithley passed away on Friday June 3rd at his home in Mesa Arizona.  Lanny was born December 23, 1946 in Merced California from his parents Birdsell and Marie Keithley. He is survived by his brother Donald Keithley (wife: Linda), his beautiful and loving wife Cindy Anita Keithley, his two sons from his first wife Beverly; Aaron Keithley (wife: Tara) and Ryan Keithley (husband: Reggie), grandson Oliver Keithley (wife: Taylor), granddaughters Alana and Asha Keithley and great grandsons Jaxtyn and Cash Keithley.

Lanny was a brilliant and creative man with a long successful career in Information Technology working for companies such as IBM, Gentry and Longs Drugs.  He lived in Half Moon Bay, California for over 20 years then he retired in Twin Falls Idaho where he built his dream home and took up his long-time passion of fishing.  He was always tinkering with computers and gadgets and used is inventive mind to create custom fishing needles and hollow-fill fishing line where he started his second career and opened his own business selling these inventions to fisherman and companies worldwide.

Lanny loved an adventure and spent a lot of time travelling across the country in his RV with wife Cindy and their dog’s visiting family and friends.  He was an avid pool player and was on pool leagues in Half Moon Bay and Idaho.  He was always up for a good time and really knew how to be the life of the party!

Lanny was a loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed but we all know he is happy and healthy in heaven!  Lanny hoped that one day he would hit the jackpot with a WLT (winning lottery ticket) . . . Lanny, we will continue to play lottery, so maybe you can send some winning luck down from heaven so we can get the WLT in your honor!

We love and miss you and will always have your memory in our hearts and minds.

Hearing about your loss has deeply saddened me, but I know that this is far from what you are going through right now. Receive my condolences. Love Grandma Carolyn and Al

  3. DL says:

My deepest sympathy to the family. The loss of a loved one can cause much sorrow and pain. May you find comfort in the inspired words of the bible found in the book of Revelation 21:4 – And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Offer Condolences
