Larry Ray Hensley Obituary

Larry Ray Hensley was born in Garden City, MI to Dallas and Virginia Hensley on January 4, 1947.  He departed this life January 10, 2016. Both parents preceded him in death.  He was an only child.

Larry was educated in the Michigan public school system.  Early in his pursuit to do well, he became an independent truck driver and later became an owner of several commercial trucks.  He transported commercial cargo for Rye Gentry and Autumn Trucking Company.

Also, Larry served in the United States Military during the Vietnam War.

In his spare time, Larry enjoyed repairing things in Larry’s “wild kingdom” tool shop at home. Also, he enjoyed relaxing and entertaining family and friends on his spacious patio with its outdoor cooling system.

Larry was the father of two children, Scott Ray Hensley and Lisa Worden.  He was the grandfather of nine children.  He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted fiancée and caregiver, Diane Bullock.  Also, he leaves two special friends Jorge Cano and Eli Benitz and their lovely family to treasure his memory, as well as a host of family members and friends.
