Lillian (Mendoza) Amado, 90, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, passed to her eternal home with Jesus on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
Having learned to play the piano at age 5, Lillian loved to entertain and was a member of Sweet Adeline’s for twelve years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education in 1949 from ASU and taught in Arizona for 37 years. Lillian loved her family very much. She was a generous soul and will be greatly missed.
She is predeceased by parents, Frank and Tillie Mendoza; daughter, Irma Griffin; and brother, Rudy C. Burrola. Survivors include son, Frank (Linda) Amado; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel located at 7900 E Main Street in Mesa Arizona.
