Lovay Elmer Kimnach, 93, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Mesa. Lovay was born in Salix, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Ann Kimnach; and parents, Philip and Sena Kimnach.  Lovay is survived by his sons, Gary, Larry, Terrance, and Tracy; grandchildren, Jonathan, Deborah, Rachel, Joseph, Sarah, April Balm, Jason, Tiffany Bartek, Jeffrey, Christine Grochowski, Joshua, and Andy; great-grandchildren, Caleb Welchel, Ian Welchel, Raven Welchel, Elyse Bartek, Mila Kimnach, Milla Grochowski, Halle, Hudson, and Easton; and great-great-grandchild, Owen.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 starting at 9:00, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.

    I have just learned of Uncle Mike’s passing and Aunt Boots, as well. I have only happy memories of my childhood visits to Iowa with my favorite aunt, uncle and 4 boy cousins!
