Marie Bertha Martin entered into eternity on May 24, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona. She is survived by three children, Nellie DePoy, Paul Grim and Glen Grim. Also, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Marie was born in Versailles, Ohio on August 20, 1922. She attended school in Gettysburg, Ohio in the 1930’s. She married Harry J. Grim on June 12, 1940 and moved to Greenville, Ohio where they raised their children. Marie was employed at Corning Glass Works in Greenville from 1957 through 1975. Later she moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1978 and loved life living out west. She would make conversation with everyone she came in contact with. She loved going to casino’s, watching The Ohio State Buckeye’s football team, the Diamondbacks and eating out. Mom loved the Lord and was a member of Faith in Christ Fellowship church. Her favorite song was “He Touched Me.” Services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 starting with the visitation at 5:00 pm and the funeral service at 6:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street in Mesa, Arizona. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
