Marie Helen Schritz, 94 years, left the Earth for Heaven on February 15, peacefully at her home in Apache JCT., AZ. Our Mom was an incredibly loving generous person. She was never heard complain about anyone or anything. She only had kind words for everyone & always positive. She could be heard singing along as she was cleaning her home & other projects. Mom was a fantastic cook & her bakery goods were delicious. While in Barnesville, her dining room was always full of guest coming all of the time for breakfast lunch & dinner. There was always an open door to everyone & she & Ray loved that. The family & friends loved her delicious food & their hospitality. They were very generous & loving. It was a joy being there. Our Mom was the kindest, sweetest & most giving person & never expected anything in return. She loved dancing & doing her domestic jobs & keeping a meticulous home & loved gardening. Our Mom always looked absolutely beautiful with her hair clothing, she always looked perfect. Her & our father Ray were married Dec 14, 1948 & Mom being a beautiful bride & elegant in her beautiful wedding gown. Our Mom will be so much missed & it will never be the same without having her here with us but we will all meet again. She is survived by 5 children Anthony (Ann), Barb (Jeff), Terry (Becky), Amy (Jeff), Ron (Jane). Also 13 grandchildren & great grandchildren. Sister Fern, brothers Wally (Sandy), Donald (Connie). Phil & Rosie & brother in laws & sister in laws & nieces, nephews & friends. She was proceeded in death by our dad Ray, daughter baby Katherine, sister Pearl, parents Ed & Florence Erdmann. And to mention a special gratitude to our sister Amy & her son Drew who took exceptional great care of our mom & being there for her all of the time. Services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at Assumption Catholic Church. Graveside and lunch to follow.
Marie was one of the most beautiful people to come into my life . I couldn’t, have asked for a more thoughtful and loving Mother -in- Law . Such a kind and loving soul . She reminded me so much of my own dear mother .so thankful to have had her in my life . She will be sorely missed . Condolences to all of her family . Love Arvin
