Marleen Schade (Olecki), age 70, of Mesa AZ (formerly Chicago, IL) passed away November 25, 2022. Marleen was born May 9, 1952, to the late Henry and Marie Olecki. Marleen was the loving mother of her son, Christopher, dear sister to Joan (Spencer) and Pamela (Conley), fond Aunt and Great Aunt to many. Marleen spent the first 44 years of her life in Chicago working and raising her son, Christopher. After spending many vacations and holidays visiting her sister Joan and family in Phoenix, Marleen and Christopher decided to head west also. So, in 1996 Marleen and Christopher made their permanent home in Mesa AZ. They have greatly enjoyed living there for the past 26 years. Marleen had a passion for reading, she was an avid reader and just loved a good book. She also was a red wine enthusiast and loved sharing a nice glass of wine with friends, family and sometimes virtually with her sister, Pam. Marleen recently remodeled her Kitchen; she loved to cook and took pride in having all the proper utensils to create a delicious dish. She also enjoyed passing the time watching her much loved QVC channel. Marleen was known for her dry sense of humor and her quick wit. Marleen enjoyed working as an auditor for CNA National for the last 20 years. She had many friendships there and will be sorely missed. Marleen is survived by her son, Christopher, countless family and friends. For all who knew her, she will remain in a special place inside their hearts forever. Marleen was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues. Visitation Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1-2pm and services starting 2pm. At Mountain View Funeral home, Mesa AZ Luncheon to follow. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, in Des Plaines, IL.
