Michael Lynn Truesdell passed away peacefully at his home in Mesa, AZ on January 1, 2023.
Mike had been fighting a short and tough battle with small cell lung cancer, and an unrelated bladder cancer since September 2022. He completed his first round of chemotherapy on 12/23, and spent a beautiful Christmas Day at home with family.
Mike was born in Greeley, CO on October 10, 1953. He was preceded in death by his father, F.L. “Jake” Truesdell; mother and step-father, JoAnn and Robert Lebsack; and brother, Ronald Truesdell.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Judi Truesdell; their 4 beautiful daughters- Stacy (Derek) Walsh, Jessie (Will) Cooper, Katy (Abel) Garcia, & Lindsay (TJ) Alaniz; 10 adoring grandchildren- Kyler, Parker, Bella, Brenna, Charley, Chloe, Julian, Jude, Wyatt, Ollie; Brother, Buddy (Gretchen) Truesdell; Sister, Linda (Donald) Swencki; Sister in-law, Linda Thomas; Brother & sister in-law, Stuart & Nan Thomas; many nieces & nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
Mike was a loyal friend who never met a stranger. An avid athlete and sports enthusiast who excelled in any sport he participated in. He was often found on a barstool, telling stories, surrounded by family and friends. Mike was a dedicated service manager at Chandler West Auto Repair for 20+ years, where he developed many lasting relationships. Growing up in Colorado led to a love of time spent in the mountains- fishing, hunting, and camping. Nothing brought Mike more joy than spending quality time with his family, friends, and furry ones alike.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

You have our deepest sympathy. Wishing your family peace, comfort and strength during this difficult time. Mike’s spirit is shining brightly as God’s newest angel. Love you all.
So many amazing memories with this man. He was like a dad on so many ways. So much love and gratitude to Mike and Judi for keeping me loved as a kid and young adult ans now through adulthood always knowing I had their support. Michael you will never be forgotten and the love we all have for you will never fade. Until next time…
Mike was an amazing person, always full of life. He was a fighter, and his bout with cancer did not stop him. I remember talking to him about retirement and he said that he will never retire. He wanted to be active, go out, golf more and have some more fun.
We at Chandler West are so sorry to loose him. May god bless the family with strength to deal with the loss.
My heart breaks due to the passing of this funny, sweet and amazing man. Mike and his beautiful family were a huge part of the lives of my family. I have many great memories and he will be forever missed.
Hi Judy, you may not remember me, I am Sylvia’s daughter in law, Marty. We are.so sad to hear of your husbands passing. I remember your daughters, mom loved those little girls and spoke so highly of you and Mike. Sending prayers from Sylvias family (Jerry Marlow, Marianne Copp and Marty Marlow)) to yours.
