Mira (nee: Milojicic) Olson, 68, of Gold Canyon, AZ, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, in Gilbert, AZ after a courageous battle with cancer. Mira was born in Racine, WI on May 18, 1955, where she graduated from William Horlick High School, Class of ‘73. On July 13, 1974, she was united in marriage to Rick Olson. Mira was employed by Wisconsin Natural Gas Company in Racine and Salt River Project in Mesa, AZ before retiring in 2014. She had a passion for cooking, loved crocheting and enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her father Miodrag Milojicic. She is survived by her mother Herta Milojicic, husband, Rick Olson, daughter Liz (Dave) Chilen, granddaughter Lauren Chilen, sisters Moni (Rick) Fiscus, Maria (Larry) Wainwright, special friends Sandy and TK Ketchum along with nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society

    Rick, I don’t know if you recall me, I was one of the serious “car guys.” I attended Horlick with Mira, & your brother Jimmy. I recall your family lived on the 2900 block of Geneva st. I did see Jimmy a few times in the 90’s. Please know you, & yours are in my prayers.
