Nathaniel Wayne Cantrell, 32 of San Tan Valley, AZ died on October 29, 2022. He was born in Mesa, AZ on May 1, 1990.  Nathan grew up in Apache Junction where he was active in Apache Junction Little League, Boy Scout troop 219, the Gold Canyon United Methodist Youth Group and the Apache Junction Fire Explorers. He was a Correctional Officer for years before he began his Career as a Truck Driver.

 

Nathaniel was a hard working family man who lived life to the fullest. Nathan enjoyed camping, hunting, barbecuing with his family, riding dirt bikes, working on cars and rooting on the Green Bay Packers. He was always helping anyone in need and there wasn’t a person around he wouldn’t befriend.

 

Nathaniel is survived by his wife Traci Cantrell, daughter Destiny, sons Shawn, Furious and Grayson of San Tan Valley, AZ; his parents Gary Cantrell and Marjorie Cantrell of San Tan Valley, AZ; a brother James Cantrell of Missouri and 5 sisters, Allison Cantrell of San Tan Valley, Az, Michelle Nelson, Christa Nelson, Tina Cantrell, Tabitha Chase of Missouri; his grandmother Judy Hanshaw of San Tan Valley, AZ . He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

 

Nathan had a big heart, was a friend to all, and will be missed by many.

 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by:

Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetary

7900 East Main Street Mesa, AZ 85207. The visitation and services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 with visitation starting at 9:00 am and the service to follow.
