Neil E. Wormsbaker, 87, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on December 8, 2017. Neil was born in Clayton, New Mexico on September 5, 1930 to Adam and Claudine Wormsbaker. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Wormsbaker, daughters Debra Filmore and Donna Wormsbaker, Son, Glenn Wormsbaker, Sister, Tiana Swafford, brother, Bill Wormsbaker and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We were very very fortunate to meet Neil and Ethel and spend some fun times with them and their son Glenn and daughter in law Lucy at one of our favorite places to eat!
The smile on his face and his warm laugh made us feel like we had known him for years!
We are honored to have known him and it is no secret how loved he was as a father, grandfather and friend.
Rest In Peace sweet man!
Thank you to Katie and the wonderful staff at Mountain View. Your guidance and genuine compassion have helped get us through a difficult week. Dad chose wisely.
There really are no words. Neil was an amazing man but more importantly, a good man. His disarming humor, keen insight and unconditional love will all be missed. He was fun to be around and could fix just about anything. I could go on and on but he wouldn’t want a eulogy. He didn’t have the patience for that sort of thing. He didn’t want a memorial, he didn’t want any fussing or fretting. Just remember the man and smile.
Love you, Dad, now and forever.
Godspeed, Mr. Wormsbaker. Peace to your family.
Condolences to the Wormsbaker family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, “heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds.” May God bring you comfort and peace.
Ethel and family, I send my deepest regrets. I know Neil is watching down over all of you, and you will be taken good care of as always. Blessings to you and your family. God Bless You.
