Patsy Ann Collins, 75, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born on April 19, 1941 in Roxboro, NC to Edward Gaston Lester and Lizzie Mae Tanksley Lester. In 1957, she met and married her husband of almost 60 years, Billy Allen Collins. They had five children. She was a military wife and devoted herself to her family as a stay at home mom. She worked in retail after her children had grown and she enjoyed baking. Patsy is survived by her husband, Billy; their children, Stephen Collins and his wife Leslie Collins, Timothy Collins and his wife Teri Brown Collins, Douglas Collins, Susan Collins DiBella and her husband Vincent DiBella, and Kathryn Collins Gomez and her husband Armando Gomez; her sister Ruby Moore of Roxboro, NC; 10 grandchildren and three great‐grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main Street in Mesa from 10:30 am until the Memorial Service at 11:30 am. A reception will follow. Mountain View Funeral Home is assisting the family.
