Peggy Williams Edwards of Mesa and originally from Westminster, Calif., passed away on April 6, 2019 after a long battle with esophageal cancer. She was 59 years old.

Peggy was a dedicated wife, daughter, and mother whose primary life focus was the well-being of her family.  She was happiest when her family and friends were together to celebrate a family milestone. By profession, she was a manager for Western Digital and Motorola.  Her contagious laugh and irreverent sense of humor will be missed by all that knew her.  She was a dedicated and trustworthy friend.

Peggy is survived by her husband, James Edwards, of Mesa; daughter, Amanda Mickelson (husband Shane), of Apache Junction; son John Howshall, Jr. (wife Shawnna) of San Tan Valley; brother, Hank Williams (husband Phil Sonntag) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; lifetime best friend, Paula TerHaar (husband Kirk) of Mission Viejo, Calif., nieces, Kristine Pope of Oceanside, Calif., and Angela Braverman (husband Heath) of Pocatello, Idaho; and grandchildren, Marisa Isaacs, Annabell Mickelson, Kenneth Mickelson, Gage Howshall, Jaeda Moore, and Austin Howshall and also great grandson, Michael Isaacs. Peggy is preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Louise Williams and sister, Judy Williams.

A visitation for Peggy will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery on April 19th, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.  Everyone is invited to the reception immediately following Peggy’s services.

In these times it is difficult to express in words the tremendous lose we feel. Peggy was a key person in my family’s life, as Big Grandma she was a loving and caring member of our family. May you find comfort in knowing her struggle is over and she is with our LORD.

She has left an imprint in our hearts and life that cannot be filled.

Peggy we miss you and Love you!!

    Little Grandma,
    Yolanda

I know you are without pain now and are with Uncle Ken, Aunt Louise, Judy Tom and many more. Even though your soul is in heaven your spirit will remain with everyone who loved and knew you, This will always be as long as we tell stories about all of you and keep our family memories alive.
