Raymond W. Ricks was born on October 21,1931 and passed away on Tuesday, January 30,2018. Ray was part of the Bill Williams Mountain Men for over 40 years and traveled by horseback 26 times from Williams, AZ to Phoenix, AZ. He also rode in 2 Presidential Inaugural parades with the Mountain Men.
Ray is Survived by his wife, Marita, a daughter from a previous marriage, 3 step-children, 2 daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a son that preceded him in death.
A viewing will be held from 11:00-12:00 on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 with services immediately following at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.
Ray and Charlie Brown are out riding , Ray on his Molly and Charlie on his Blu.. Ray will be missed by all of us , he was loved by us too ..Condolences to Marita and all the kids,, There is very few Good men left in this world ,, and we lost one of them,, We love ya, Nita Householder, and Denise..

God Bless you Marita for your loss. Grampa Ray was a special person to us all. Chad has great Memories of riding on camping trips with him in the summer. I know him and little Ray are together now and are smiling down on all of us. We will all love and miss him just like we do Ray Jr.
