Rev. James Lloyd Blake, 76, passed away in his home on December 9, 2020. James was born on April 16, 1944 to Joseph and Norma Blake. He was the youngest of five children. James was raised in Dayton, Ohio until he moved his family to Arizona in the early 1970’s.
James attended Washington Elementary and Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, Ohio. James was a self-taught, walking encyclopedia. He studied books and trades to become a master in his field of Construction. He became a licensed Contractor and owned and operated his own business. James was a math wizard and a stellar driver. He was able to operate any and all vehicles. He self-studied and obtained his CDL License.
James loved to fish, watch sports and spend quality time with his family. His lifelong passion was reading the Bible. He dedicated his entire life to studying to interpret the word of God to prepare his family and the entire world of prophetic events to come. He was a loving husband, father and full-time care giver to his wife, Judith.
James is proceeded by his father Joseph Eugene Blake, mother Norma Lee Blake, sisters Norma Jeanne Thompson, Patricia Ann Levine and Judith Carol Christy.
James is survived by his wife Judith Ann Blake, daughter Rhonda Webb, sons Deron Eugene Blake, Derek Lloyd Blake, daughter-in law Grace Marie Blake, granddaughter Hannah Rae Rowland, Sarah Ann Blake, Sidney Taylor Blake, Rachael Lynn Blake and Great Granddaughter Braylin Riley Peterson and Sister Shirley Sabia.
