RICKY ALLEN BANKS

Sunrise: February 29, 1988   Sunset: July 27, 2017

Ricky Allen Banks, was born February 29, 1988, in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended and graduated from Trinity High School and then obtained a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University with plans to one day pursue an advanced degree in medicine and practice. At the age of 13, he confessed his faith in Jesus and joined St. Stephen Church and later reaffirmed his faith in 2013.

Ricky had a deep love for his family, and found joy in helping and making others feel better, not just in his professional life, but even more so in his personal life. He built many lasting relationships from middle school until his very last breath. Even before middle school, Ricky impressed his teachers with his leadership skills and drive for excellence; and excellence describes his school work as well as his extraordinary soccer skills on the traveling soccer team.

He quietly departed this life July 27, 2017,  in Tempe, Arizona. He precedes in death his parents, Robert Sargent Banks and Karoly
n Banks; two brothers, Reymond D. Colson and Robert E. Banks; a sister-in-law, Ana Elizabeth Colson; a niece, Elliana Yvonae Colson, and a nephew, Malakhi River Colson; and a host of devoted cousins, friends and colleagues.
