Maureen and family….Please know that I am so sorry that Bob has died. He was such a special guy, and we thought so much of him. I wish we could be there, but it is not possible. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Nancy and Rick

  2. Michelle Michaud says:

Kevin, Mark, Randy, Maureen, The Michauds would like to offer our deepest condolences on the passing of our favorite Uncle Robert. He was the kind of guy that didn’t talk much but was incredibly supportive if ever called upon to help. He was so kind and smart with that Urlaub humor and quick wit not to mention very creative and talented when it came to jewelry. I’m honored to have many of his original pieces of art to wear in his memory. A few years ago I was lucky enough to visit him and Maureen at their home in Mesa Arizona and it was a delightful visit because he gave me a tour of his jewelry workshop, the retirement community and the surrounding area. He always wanted to make sure we felt welcome and entertained. He and Maureen were great hosts. One last thing that he and I shared was our love for Grandma Urlaubs recipes specifically fruit cake and wedding ring pickles. He was always my partner in crime and would happily scarf down whatever I sent him, graciously thanking me for the trouble. He will be missed but not forgotten.
