Robert J Copley, of Mesa, AZ, passed away February 16, 2022.  He was born December 6, 1963 in McHenry, IL, to Charles and Tina Copley, and was raised in Crystal Lake, IL.  Robert had a successful career as the owner of The Metal Shop.

Bob loved spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed throwing a BBQ on a Sunday to watch football, especially when the Packers played! He would take whomever wanted to join him on the pontoon and would take someone on drive with the sole purpose of getting a burrito in a place like Superior. He loved spending time on the beach in Mexico as was rarely seen in anything more than tank tops, shorts and flipflops. He loved his toys; Harleys, classic cars, fast cars, cars that didn’t run, forklifts, boom lifts and taking selfies with filters.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Tina McMorris Copley. He will be dearly missed by three sons, Chris (Brittni) Billeter,  Ryan (Lara) Billeter, and Justin Billeter; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Leah, Allura and Shelby; four brothers, Frank (Sherri Nasson) Copley; Charles (Lindsey) Copley, Casey Copley and Jeremy Copley; three sisters Megan (Reljic) Branco, Allison Larissa and Christy McCarthy.
