Ronald Lee Jacobs, age 82, passed away peacefully in his home in Mesa, AZ on December 24, 2022, surrounded by his family. Ron was born on December 5, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Walter and Joyce (McMullen) Jacobs.
In 1958, he joined the United States Army where he served until 1961. On November 18, 1961, he married Maureen (Terry) Carey. Ron and Terry spent most of their time in East Troy, WI. There Ron had his own carpet business, J&J Carpet Service. He was a part of the East Troy Lions Club where he also did stock car racing. He was associated with Wisconsin BMW club, Tri-Troy ambulance service, Milwaukee Carpenter’s Union, and VFW.
Ron and Terry became snowbirds in Arizona and eventually made it their permanent home. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Ron enjoyed RV’ing, motorcycling, and driving jeeps in the mountains. In Arizona, he joined American Legion Riders Post 27 Apache Junction.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Terry (2006) of 45 years and son Randy (1992). He is survived by his children: Russel (Sara) Jacobs of East Troy, WI and Rick (Lisa) Jacobs of Elkhorn, WI. He had 5 grandchildren: Jessica, Krystal, Sean, Randy, and Erick.
