To all the family,
We continue to keep you all in our prayers as you grieve Sharon’s passing. Absent from the body and present with the Lord and we take solace in knowing that Sharon is safe in the arms of Jesus because she knew Him as her Saviour and Lord.
I have many childhood memories of Sharon and her Mom and Dad visiting with we cousins in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Over the years as we became busy with our own families, we lost contact with each other, but then in 2000, I was so excited to find a letter from Sharon in my mailbox. That began a reunion again, a visit to Sharon and George’s in Apache Junction in 2001 and then a reunion of the MacLeod clan ( her Mom and my Mom were MacLeod sisters)in 2003. Again another reunion in Arizona in 2006and so our bond became strong again. The last time we were together was at another cousins in Pennsylvania. Then in the past few years we realized that Sharon and I had the same form of leukaemia. All this to say that Sharon had an important part in my life, I always looked forward to her Facebook posts and occasional phone calls. Her smile would light up a room and she will be remembered as a caring, loving lady who was very proud of all her family. May you enjoy all your sweet memories.

Thank you for your kind words Jane Marie
