It is with deep sadness the family of Sherry Kay Bess Mihalek announces her passing on July 7, 2022, in Mesa, AZ. She was born in Logansport, Indiana to Lucille Cover and John Bess.

Our mother had a passion for quilting, sewing, and knowledge. She loved Arizona even though the summers are miserable, animals no matter what size, apart from pack rats, which we are pretty sure no one likes, and just being out and about in nature. She could often be found sitting at her sewing or embroidery machines making something new for family and friends, may that be placemats, blankets or whatever else she discovered would be a wonderful and useful gift. She enjoyed reading just as much as sewing and was always finding something that spiked her curiosity. Her constant thirst to learn something new was a big part of her life and provided her with many accomplishments such as being certified in Red Cross, working with Search & Rescue, and gaining multiple degrees.

Her best moments were spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who continually put a smile in her heart and on her face.

She is survived by her sister and three nephews, six children, twelve grandchildren and seven soon to be eight great grandchildren.

Mom you will be missed, we Love you!
