Teresa Lynn Heiselt (nee Fraley) was born on October 25, 1956, in Ashland, Kentucky, and died on September 8, 2022, in Gilbert, Arizona.  The daughter of Ray and Minerva (Queen) Fraley, she was a long-time resident of Apache Junction.  She graduated from South Point (Ohio) High School then completed her nurse’s training at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio, in 1977.  She took great pleasure from her decades-long career as a Registered Nurse and Diabetic Educator.  Afflicted with Rheumatoid Arthritis early in life, Teresa moved to Arizona in 1980 for the health benefits the climate afforded.

Teresa married the love of her life, Eugene Wallace “Dutch” Heiselt in 1983 and immediately became mother to son James.  Her son, Joe, was born in 1984 and both sons still live in the east valley.  Her sons and her three grandchildren were a source of unending joy for her.

Teresa was a member of the First Assemblies of God church in Apache Junction and was instrumental in the Patchwork Prayer Quilters ministry.  One of her great loves in life were her relationships and time spent with her family, her friends, and her beloved church family.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by her sons, James and Gabriella Heiselt of Mesa, and Joe Heiselt of Apache Junction; her grandchildren, Elora, Dax, and Korben Heiselt; and her three siblings, brother Charlie and Deanna Fraley of Dighton, Kansas, and sisters Sharon Kay and Dale (deceased) Womack of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, and Karen and Gary Werner of South Point, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews, both of the regular and ‘great’ varieties.

Teresa was one of the most kind, patient, God-fearing, Psalm-singing, Bible-quoting, and loving people any person could hope to meet.  She will be missed.

Services to be held on Tuesday September 13, 2022 at 10:30AM at Teresa’s beloved church.

Teresa was a great blessing to me. I am so sorry to hear her passing. She was a dear person and always was loving and kind to me. She referred me for healthcare jobs and. Was so sweet when my mother passed away. I loved seeing her quilts. She will be missed. I often would go by Gene’s grave while visiting my in laws grave. They are together now. So I will say my hellos to them both now. I hope her family knows they are loved and how deeply sorry I am that she is gone but rejoice that she is home with our Savior and Gene.
