William “Bill” Francis Foucher passed away on January 31, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by his daughter and loved ones.
Bill was born on June 14, 1939, in Lewistown, Montana. He proudly served four years in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, Bill built a respected career as a Certified Public Accountant. He also dedicated extensive professional work supporting the Gila River Indian Community and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, work he valued deeply.
On May 4, 1963, Bill married the love of his life, Lois Virginia Foucher, beginning a marriage that spanned decades of shared life and family. In his free time, Bill enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to cheering on the Denver Broncos.
Bill was a longtime and devoted member of the Elks National Association. He will be most remembered for his extensive work with Elks Special Projects, his involvement with the Special Olympics, and his commitment to holiday shopping programs that supported underprivileged children in the Mesa community. Service to others was not just something he did, it was who he was.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Chester Foucher and Janet May Foucher; his brother, Michael Foucher; his son, Curtis David Foucher; and his beloved wife, Lois Virginia Foucher.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lynne Foucher; his Honorary daughter Vonnie Lee Hebert; his granddaughter Mattea Rachel Lear, her husband Jason Edward Lear; and grandson Alexander William Foucher; and his five great-grandchildren: Emma Tinsley McKillip, Nora Kiersten Lear, Amelia Diane Foucher, Victoria Elizabeth Foucher, and Richard William Foucher. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services will be held on February 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Elks Special Projects in Bill’s honor.
