Army from 1953-55. Using the GI Bill, he earned a BS degree in geology from Arizona State University. He then became a small business owner and investor.

Gene’s life was deeply intertwined with his beloved wife, Wanda, whom he met at church. This meeting blossomed into a 60 year partnership filled with love,

He was known for being intelligent, soft spoken, humble, and generous. Gene had high expectations for himself and those he loved. He lived a life of hard work, integrity and faith.
