Dad,
You taught me right from wrong. You said “do the right thing”, even if it’s harder and no one is watching. When I was 15, you taught me how to balance my checkbook, put money in savings and create a budget. I remember building the dune buggy with you and Mick and you teaching me how to drive when I was 13. We rode horses and dirt bikes. We swam in creeks and swung from ropes into ponds. We listened to the Beach Boys on eight track tapes during road trips. You were home every night and said “I love you” and bedtime. I know you will always watch over us. I miss you so much….
I will miss you, best childhood friend.Deepest sympathy to Margo. Bill Matthews and Margaret
I will miss you dear childhood friend. Our deepest sympathy to Margo. Bill and Margaret Matthews
On the morning of his 57th wedding anniversary, my grandfather finally found himself at peace and rest. I could not be more thankful for the memories we have shared nor more impressed for the tenacity he displayed through his life. He was truly an inspiration and remains one to this day.
