After celebrating 92 years of life, Albert Kent “A.K.” Tone passed into legend on the morning of Wednesday, November 18th, 2015. Kent was born on October 26th, 1923 in Mesa Arizona. As a child, he loved to play pranks on visiting family members. His sense of humor lasted through his whole life. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII as a waist gunner on a B-17. He proudly flew 23 missions over Axis-controlled Europe. When he returned from the War, Kent married his sweetheart, Loretta Brown. They had four children and were married for 64 years before Loretta passed. Kent was passionate about farming and telling stories. He loved to laugh and would talk to just about anyone about anything. His memory is kept by his brother, Klove; his children, Alan, Teresa, and Duane; his grandchildren, Stacy, Colby, Kira, Melissa, Shannon, Rebecca, and Robert; his eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services for Kent will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ on Saturday, November 28th at 11am. Viewing is at 10am.
