Mrs. Alice Ann Lauck Elmer age 70 of Mesa, AZ., passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 2, 2010 in the Banner Gardens Hospice House following an extended illness. Alice was born on November 15, 1939 in Mesa, AZ., the daughter of the late Thomas Woodrow Lauck and the late Emily Allene Jones Lauck. In her youth she attended several Mesa Public Schools and graduated from Mesa High in 1957. One of the highlights of her time at Mesa High was being a Rabbette. She raised seven children. She brought the gospel into the lives of her family by being the first to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What a great blessing she gave to her children and grandchildren. Alice is survived by two brothers, Rad (Dorthy) Lauck of Tuscumbia, AL., and Carl (Vicki) Lauck of Kingman, AZ. Seven Children, Debi (Terry) Wilson of San Tan Valley, AZ., Cindi (Doug) Shepherd of Las Vegas, NV., Mike (Terrie) Elmer of Serra Vista, AZ., Teresa (Wayne) Stradling of Mesa, AZ., Linnie (Luis) Soto of Buckeye, AZ., Kim Tryon of Mesa, AZ., and Jenny (Kirk) Reed of Gilbert, AZ. Mom I love you and miss you. I was so hard for me to see you suffer especially these last few weeks in the hospital. It gave me such a feeling of peace as we were able to put you into the Hospice House the last week of your life. You seemed so much more at peace and I was able to realize it was time for you to go back home to live with your Heavenly Father.
Thank You for giving me life and for bringing the Gospel into our lives, for these and so many more things I will be eternally grateful. Love, Teresa
So sorry for the loss of your mother. You were so blessed to have her for your mother. She was a wonderful woman. She raised a great bunch of kids and I know it wasn’t easy, but she loved all of you, you were her life.
