Aloys Richard Douvier, age 94, passed away on July 14, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1930 in Holdingford, MN. Aloys proudly served in the Navy as an electrician from 1950 to 1954. He married his wife, Elizabeth, on October 23, 1954 in St.Paul, MN. He was hard-working and held many jobs throughout his lifetime including working as an electrician, air conditioning and refrigeration installer/repairman, farmer, and business owner. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Amelia (Marek); wife, Elizabeth (Fleischhacker); son, Daniel; and siblings Frank, Magdalen, Loretta, Mary, Andrew, Julia, Leo and Elizabeth. He is survived by children Jean (Robert) Opheim, JoAnn (Dale) Cooper, Gregory (Bonnie), Thomas (Kathleen), and daughter-in-law Theresa (Daniel) Douvier; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Service to be held at a later date.
