Ann Stevens, age 65, passed away peacefully at home Thursday Aug 20, 2015. Ann was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 24, 1949 to Zera and Helen Hardyman. She graduated from Valley High School in 1967 and attended the University of Albuquerque, graduating in 1971 with a degree in Education. Ann married Benny Stevens of Albuquerque in 1970. Ann and Benny spent the past 35 years in Mesa, AZ where Ann raised two children Keira and Jill. Ann enjoyed art, gardening, Beatles music and reading. Ann is survived by her husband, Benny Dean Stevens, her daughter Keira Stevens and husband Matt McNeal, daughter Jill Mehrer and husband Paul Mehrer, granddaughters Elaina, Lily and Emily, grandson Nathan. She is preceded in death by her parents Zera Hardyman, Helen Hayes Hardyman and her brother Charles Hardyman. The family will have a reception at First United Methodist Church 15 E First Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210 on Saturday, August 29th at 4:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
