AUGUST MANZO JR. – 95 Years Old, of Saddle River Township, New Jersey, currently living in Mesa, AZ ascended into heaven on March 11, 2024.
August was born in Saddle River Township, N.J. on December 27, 1928, to parents Jennie and August Manzo Sr. August worked as a Mason and General Contractor in New Jersey for many years and eventually retired in Arizona. He married Rose Manzo on September 24, 1950, and had 3 children, August III, Ray and Richard. They shared 68 years of marriage before her passing in 2018.
August was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Tess and brothers, John and Joseph and a great-grandson. He is survived by his sons August III (Nancy), Ray (Molly) and Richard (Susan) and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. August was a devoted husband and a true family man.
Services will include a viewing from 9-10 am and a brief Catholic ceremony from 10-11 am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Mountain View Funeral in Mesa, AZ.
