Barbara A. Scala. 89, of Mesa, Arizona, born in Akron, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2020.
We didn’t know that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly in death we will do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go it alone.
Part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories and you’ll always be by our side.
Our family chain is broken, our peace we will find.

Blessing of her ashes will be 10 a.m. Friday November 6. 2020 at Mountain View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/donate.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. You don’t know me. Barbara would misdial a phone number on occasion and get me instead of (I think) her son in Florida. I live in Willoughby Ohio so we would find things to talk about. We also talked about her trips to Las Vegas with your dad. I tried calling her today to wish her a happy 90th birthday. Like your mom when I wrote down her phone number I forgot the last digit so I tried looking her up online and found she had passed. Happy Birthday Barbara.
