Barbara “Bobbi” Wilson Jones was born on September 25, 1943, in Tacoma, Washington, and passed away on July 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Queen Creek, Arizona.

Barbara spent most of her life in Washington State before moving to Mesa, Arizona, three years ago. She will be remembered above all for her deep love of family and animals. Throughout her life, she held a special place in her heart for dogs, cats, and birds. Her compassion for animals was a constant part of who she was, and she always seemed to have a beloved pet by her side. Her final companion, Oscar, was her pride and joy and was cherished just as deeply as all the pets who came before him.

Barbara loved staying busy and had an extraordinary gift for gardening and caring for houseplants. She truly had a remarkable green thumb. Among her favorite things were roses, rainbows, sewing, cruising, card games, Farkle, puzzles, and bowling. Her home was always beautifully decorated for every holiday, reflecting her creativity and joyful spirit. She also enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners and spending time with her cherished Friday Night “Martini Girls.”

Barbara enjoyed a varied and fulfilling career. She spent many years working for Allstate Insurance Company in Seattle and later worked as a realtor with Red Carpet Realty in Lake Forest Park. She also worked for State Farm Insurance and KeyBank in Cle Elum, Washington. Through her professional life and the many people she met along the way, Barbara formed lasting friendships and touched countless lives.

She is survived by her three children: Julie Healy (Patrick), Kelly Chase (Heather), and Angelina Liberato; her two grandchildren, Kevin Higginbotham (Ashley) and Kailin Nosetti (Lucas); and her four great-grandchildren, Gunner, Redmond, Leo, and Mateo.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Wilson of Walla Walla, Washington, and by her granddaughter, Kristin Higginbotham of Bothell, Washington.

Though Barbara is no longer with us, her memory lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many people and animals she loved throughout her life. She will be remembered for her independent spirit, her unwavering love of family, and her devotion to her pets.

Give Kristin a huge hug from us, Mom. We love you, and we miss you dearly.
