Barbara LaRue Maherbe, 88, of Cayuga, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Arbor Rose Senior Living Memory Unit in Mesa, AZ.
A native of Indiana, Barbara lived in Mesa, AZ most of her adult life. She was born November 21, 1934 and a graduate of Spiceland High School, working at
Safeway Market in Mesa and running their printing department until she retired. She was very active in her church and helped her mother with Meals on Wheels
for the elderly and disabled. Her life’s joy was owning and raising horses.
Barbara is survived by 8 children, Chuck, Ronda (deceased), Rita, Kathy, Louis, Connie (deceased),Bonnie(deceased) and Sally, and 29 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara outlived both her parents, Edna and Gilbert LaRue and her three brothers Bill, Max and Jim. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Barbara, 5 nieces, 2 nephews and their children.
Funeral services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery at 2p.m. Monday, April 24th, located at 7900 East Main Street, Mesa. Her cremation urn will be placed following the service
