Barry Hasti, 79 years old, passed away January 7, 2019, after a lengthy journey with Alzheimer’s in Apache Junction, AZ. He was a loving husband and partner with Mary for 51 years.  He was a great, fun, loving dad to Beck, Matthew, Steven, and Susan, and grandpa to Shelby, Henry, Calvin, Joel, Max, and Eli.  He loved his travels to all 50 states with Mary, his many canoe trips in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota with his children and grandchildren, his time as a Boy Scout leader in Bismarck, ND, and hiking in the Arizona desert mountains.  His love for dancing, his smile, and the use of puns to make us all groan and laugh are memories to hold dear.

He attended high school in Osseo, MN and college at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He worked in the property tax area in Minneapolis, was the City Assessor in New Hope, MN and Bismarck, ND, and was the State Supervisor of Assessments, State of North Dakota.

Following his wishes cremation has taken place.
