Betty Lou Stewart, 83, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on October 22, 1942, to the late Paul and Nina McBrayer, Betty held her cherished Southern roots close to her heart throughout her life.
Betty was a sassy, spirited woman who found joy in the pages of a good book, the beauty of her rose garden, and the quiet comfort of cuddling with her beloved dog, LuAnn. She rarely turned down a cold Dr. Pepper or a Starbucks Frappuccino, and her warmth and presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen; her grandson, Cody; and her grandson, Willy Paul.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her sister, Mary; her stepchildren, Tony and Rhonda; her grandchildren, Kacey, Heather, Lydia, Andy, and Donny; as well as a growing legacy of great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride.
Betty was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
